Flow of 3 Days, and Timing

News: yohoo!! We have 50+ people onboard for the Start-up Picnic!

During three days there will be 4 work blocks – from 10:00 to 11:45, from 12:00 to 13:45, from 15:00 to 16:30, and from 16:45 to 18:00. The course has been designed to build competencies and confidence that is essential for successful entrepreneurs as well as to be maximally responsive to the particular questions brought by participants. Rather than deliver “expert teaching” from the front of the room at scheduled time, it’s shaped throughout as a learning form of all participants in order to maximize the knowledge shared. Each day will begin with the check-in and end reflection and learning circle. Open Space Rounds will be around topics such as - Investors Relationships or others that will be identified by participants as important. During one of the lunches there will be the world café.

Day 1 – Understand

Appreciative Inquiry Training & Practice

Day 2 – Imagine

Vision and value-based business design
B.12:00 to 13:45
Strategic communications (effective story-telling, media strategies and pitching). How do we express the vision for our business in a way which attracts investments by others?
C.15:00 to 16:30
Open Space Training on Hosting and Convening of Round 1 discussion groups (hosted by participants based on questions of most vital interest to them)
D. 16:45 to 18:00
Strengthening partnerships and teambuilding (and possible Open Space Round 2)

19:00 Open Doors Picnic

Day 3 – Create (Action Planning)
A. 10:00 to 11:45
Wisdom panel of highly experienced entrepreneurs “What I wish I knew when I was getting started?”, Q&A
B.12:00 to 13:45
Open Space Round 3, focused on action groups
C.15:00 to 16:30
Open Space Round 4, focused on action groups
D. 16:45 to 18:00
Development of Action Plans and Closing evaluation
